WHOLE GRAIN GINGERSNAP COOKIES

2 cups wholegrain flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 TB and 1 tsp ginger
1 ½ sticks butter - melted
1 egg
¼ cup molasses
Sugar - for rolling the cookies in
Mix together the dry ingredients, from the wholegrain flour to the ginger. Make a well and add in the liquids, from the butter through the molasses. Mix into a dough. Scoop into small balls and roll in sugar. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. They will harden (snapped) up as they cool.
