CINNAMON SUGAR + JAM BREAD

If you prefer jam and sugar over raisins.

1 TB yeast
1 ¼ cup buttermilk
4 TB butter
¼ cup honey
3 ½ cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup jam
Warm the buttermilk + butter (120-130 degrees) and whisk together with the yeast and the honey. Let sit 5-10 minutes to activate. Mix in the flour and salt. Knead into a ball. Let rise for one hour or until doubled in size. Roll out into a rectangle and cover with cinnamon, brown sugar and jam. Roll towards you and shape into a loaf pan shape. Place in oiled loaf pan and let rise 30 minutes. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35-45 minutes, until they’re golden brown on top and bottom. Let rest and cool, then slice.
