BROWN SUGAR DATE CAKE

For the love of sugar. 

3 cups white whole grain flour 

1 ⅓ cups brown sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt 

1 tsp cinnamon 

6 dates - pitted and chopped 

½ cup sour cream 

4 TB butter - softened 

3 eggs 

¼ cup whole milk 

Whisk together the dry ingredients from the flour to the cinnamon. Add in the chopped dates. Make a well in the middle and add in the wet ingredients, whisk to combine everything. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until your knife comes out clean. Enjoy!
